Crepe is the French word for pancake. Crepes differ from traditional pancakes in that they are lighter, thinner and are utilized in both sweet and savory dishes. Crepes can be topped or filled and rolled with fruit, meat, cheese, or vegetables. They are often accompanied by some kind of sauce and form the basis of an appetizer or main course. For something extra special...
Diets promise so much yet deliver so little. They often neglect something called genetics, which is the main determining factor of our weight and shape. Long-term health and quality of life are also often overlooked by diets that focus on helping you achieve your ideal weight and shape, however unrealistic and unsustainable that is. International No Diet Day is a day to gather with friends, family or colleagues to enjoy a day without dieting and raise awareness of the emphasis on dieting and body image in our society. By creating a supportive environment you may encourage someone to seek help, or simply contribute to a greater understanding of eating disorders and the potential dangers of dieting.
