Do you know the difference between frozen custard and ice cream?
Frozen custard is similar to ice cream, but it contains egg yolks in addition to cream and sugar. Adding egg yolks allows to create a smoother texture and help the dessert stay cold longer. Frozen custard originated in Coney Island, New York in 1919 but it remained unknown to the wide public until after the 1933 World's Fair in Chicago, Illinois.
