Blogger is now insisting that followers use a Google account - previously followers could sign in with other accounts.
'The Real Blogger Status' dated Monday December 21st:
During the past weekend, Blogger started the process of simplifying Following. This involves removing non-Google accounts and profiles from Following.
As part of this plan, starting the week of January 11, 2016, we’ll remove the ability for people with Twitter, Yahoo, Orkut or other OpenId providers to sign in to Google Friend Connect and follow blogs. At the same time, we’ll remove non-Google Account profiles so you may see a decrease in your blog follower count.
That explains why all of a sudden today my follower numbers dropped 20 overnight. So sorry about any inconvenience but hopefully you will continue visiting, reading, stepping back in time, learning about our great nation - America, gathering nuggets of trivia, enjoying the music spotlights, celebrating daily and trying the scrumptious recipes.
Set up a Google account and sign in with...Follow me if you can but most importantly keep visiting!
