- Third Sunday in July is...
National Ice Cream Day
-
"I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream!" Shout this
mantra from the rooftops, because today IS National Ice Cream Day!
In 1984, President Ronald Reagan designated July as National Ice Cream Month. He also declared that the third Sunday in July would be National Ice Cream Day. We’re definitely thankful, because ice cream is a summertime (or anytime!) favorite for people of all ages. With hundreds of flavors and toppings to choose from, you can't go wrong with ice cream!
Time of day does not matter for ice cream! Wherever you are, whatever time zone you are in, go grad that cone, cup, bowl or just go for the carton NOW!
Who says one can't have ice cream for breakfast?
You have a lot to thank "D loan Aranger" for.
ReplyDeleteD loan Aranger is an anagram of Ronald Reagan :-)
Happy Ice cream day! I'm celebrating even up north in Canada--where I wasn't able to watch the second video. Here's the message I received: 'This video is not available in your country.' Huh? I wonder why? What can you see that my innocent Canadian eyes aren't ready for? : )
ReplyDeleteIce cream is good ANYTIME! Never thought of it for breakfast, but what the heck! As hot as this summer has been, I could eat it 24/7. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI have nominated you for the Dragons Loyalty Award :-)
