Would love to hear about your experiences on the slopes. . .
For years we went skiing at least once a year, and our favorite slopes were in Colorado. However, our first ski trip was to Mount Bachelor, Oregon. They hadn't had much snow that season and everything was icy. Every time I tried to get off the chair lift, there was a drop of several feet and the ramp was icy. I fell every single time, even when taking lessons. NOT a good introduction to skiing! Luckily, with future ski trips, more lessons, better snow conditions, and perseverance, I came to love the sport.
ReplyDeleteI have never had the opportunity to try skiing. Did learn to ice skate in Vermont...that I truly loved!
ReplyDeleteI just got back last night from a weekend of performing at The Comedy Cellar at the Snowshoe resort in West.VA. I did not hit the slopes, but I did chase some snow bunnies around, does that count?
