One day before. . .
Are you in the pre-celebration mode? Activities have been planned or are
already commencing all across America. . .vendors are setting up (if not already in place) a
large variety of arts & crafts tempting both amateurs and entrepreneurs,
games for all ages from the oldest in history to the latest craze, and tasty/unusual
foods tempting even the squeamish lad to stop by for a taste test. Downtown
businesses offer sidewalk sales around town squares followed by dancin' on the
street as local bands blast favorite tunes well into the night, sometimes early
morning. Special concerts feature the hottest recording artists sharing a
time-honored tradition of entertainment with the nation.
Families are
beginning to gather in anticipation of fun, food, and fellowship. The end of
which will be truly explosive as the best of the best try to outdo each other with
fireworks that some say are larger than life.
But, one question remains. . .
Will everyone
be celebrating for the right reason? OR Will
it just be another big party?
