What is more lovable and hug-able than the teddy bear? Whether you had one as a favorite childhood 'friend' or perhaps adopted one during adulthood, your little bear more than likely became and is still perhaps a very special part of your life. The teddy bear has quite a history and even has its own day, American Teddy Bear Day, but that is a few months away. If you are a Pooh fan, you get another day to Cuddle with Pooh.
Grab your favorite stuffed teddy, a hamper of goodies, and set off for Teddy Bear Picnic Day! Since we are in the middle of summer with its stifling heat you may want to picnic by the lake or a swimming pool. Another option would be a shady place perhaps in your own backyard. The key is to arrange an outing with friends and family. Enjoy the summer sun, fun and games, and be creative with your teddy bear 'friends'! If you rather stay away from the outdoorsy heat, then, spread a blanket right in the middle of your family room floor!
You even get to sing along!
It is a known fact bears LOVE honey. With that thought in mind, make your celebration a 'honey' of a picnic. Keep in mind you can have that picnic any time of the day...morning, afternoon or evening!
At the end of the day, be sure everyone receives a teddy bear hug, even the bears themselves!

with comfort never ever being daunted
