Welcome to Awakenings

Life IS history in the making. Every word we say, everything we do becomes history the moment it is said or done. Life void of memories leaves nothing but emptiness. For those who might consider history boring, think again: It is who we are, what we do and why we are here. We are certainly individuals in our thoughts and deeds but we all germinated from seeds planted long, long ago.

♫Oldies Music♫

Oldies music offers each of us an escape, a step back in time surrendering from deep within memories of childhood thru teenage years on into adulthood. These are the songs of meaning...some sad, some happy but each clearly relinquishing heartfelt moments. Often the words appear to be written especially at a certain time for a special person, yourself.

The melody, the song, the dance, the rhythm...music you fell in love with, music you knew the words to, music you could dance that had rhythm. Refresh your memories as you listen to a few releases and recordings, songs that topped the charts and a unique event of this day in oldies music history. Perhaps your favorite will be among those that made music history on March 2 in the 50s, 60s, and 70s.
