♥Just around the corner!♥

Valentine's Day is just around the corner! The clock is ticking! Do you have surprises ready for your sweetheart, family members and friends? One of the best is that which is homemade. Write your own message of love filled with emotive feelings right from the heart. Ever heard of 'napkin' art? Take a plain white paper napkin and sketch a heart, a flower, add stick figures, then, pen a little Valentine's message. Leave it on the breakfast table for that special someone to read first thing Valentine's morning. This would be perfect for anyone special, even a child!

In other words, no matter who you might be surprising it is all in the name of love and doesn't have to come with a high price tag! There are a plethora of ideas, which require few materials and a minimal amount of time and effort. Just think of all the fun you will have creating something using your own imagination or replicating the simplicity someone else has already discovered. What about Valentine's Day in a Jar?

Own a pair of red socks? If not, no problem! Cost of a pair of socks might be a lot less than buying a single red rose plus the socks won't turn black & die, they'll just fade & wear out!
What do you do with the 'other' sock? Write 'I Love You' with white-out (it will wash out!) down the length of the sock!Fill it with foiled wrapped chocolate hearts, tie 2" - 3" from the top with string or ribbon & fold down Bobbie sock style!
Instead of buying a box of chocolates, bake a batch of Valentine's cupcakes! Flag each one with a special message and share with family and friends. The recipe can be from the simplest...

 To the more complex...

Just have fun and bake with lots of love!
