What's up for today?

February 24 is...

Wonder no longer! There are actually two celebrations up for grabs today. Perhaps one will be of your liking. If not, go ahead and make it YOUR day...like Sinatra, do it YOUR way!

The first one up is a day of CRUNCH! Chips 'n' dip, chips 'n' cheez, chips anyway you pleez! Not just any chips but...Tortilla Chips!

Fried or baked tortilla chips are considered a Mexican food but have become a great American favorite. In fact, they originated in Los Angeles during the late 1940s. Disfigured tortillas were cut into triangles, fried, bagged, tagged and sold. Thus began the competition with the corn chip! From 'mishappen' tortillas to a multi-million dollar industry...not bad for a cut-up!

Eating all those chips might have a tendency to make one thirsty. So, second up today is...

World Bartenders' Day
Since before, during and after prohibition, the bartender has been a best friend to many, especially when enjoying a night on the town...whether relaxation or celebration! Show appreciation today for the staff at your local restaurant or bar. Tip generously!

What's your passion? Bottoms up but drink responsibly!
