National Ice Cream Day

Third Sunday in July is...
National Ice Cream Day

Ice Cream Day. What your fav. flav. says about you!

"I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream!" Shout this mantra from the rooftops, because today IS National Ice Cream Day!

In 1984, President Ronald Reagan designated July as National Ice Cream Month. He also declared that the third Sunday in July would be National Ice Cream Day. We’re definitely thankful, because ice cream is a summertime (or anytime!) favorite for people of all ages. With hundreds of flavors and toppings to choose from, you can't go wrong with ice cream!

Some cr-r-r-a-a-zy flavors abound! What happened to Neapolitan?

Whether you get it in a cup or in a cone, atop a waffle or in a banana split, make sure to visit your local ice cream shop today to get some cold, delicious ice cream, pick up some at at your local grocery or make your own.

Time of day does not matter for ice cream! Wherever you are, whatever time zone you are in, go grad that cone, cup, bowl or just go for the carton NOW!

Who says one can't have ice cream for breakfast?

Doesn't get much better than this...

  1. You have a lot to thank "D loan Aranger" for.

D loan Aranger is an anagram of Ronald Reagan :-)

  2. Happy Ice cream day! I'm celebrating even up north in Canada--where I wasn't able to watch the second video. Here's the message I received: 'This video is not available in your country.' Huh? I wonder why? What can you see that my innocent Canadian eyes aren't ready for? : )

  3. Ice cream is good ANYTIME! Never thought of it for breakfast, but what the heck! As hot as this summer has been, I could eat it 24/7. Thanks for sharing.
