♫Song, Catchphrase or Both♫

Catchphrases are often used in verse, poetry and music. There are even songs that ended up being catchphrases. In other words, it used to be a song, now it is a catchphrase. Some even cross the line and end up in natural everyday conversation outliving its musical counterpart.

Queen famed British glam-rock band

The British rock band Queen formed in London in 1970, originally consisting of Freddie Mercury [lead vocals, piano], Brian May [guitar, vocals], John Deacon [bass guitar], and Roger Taylor [drums, vocals]. By the early 80s, Queen were one of the biggest stadium rock bands in the world, and their performance at 1985's Live Aid is regarded as one of the greatest in rock history.

The band Queen is especially famous for the song 'Bohemian Rhapsody'. What a song it turned out to be, especially when amazingly it almost did not make it as a single!

1980 Queen started a three week run at No.1 on the US singles chart with 'Another One Bites The Dust'.

Though probably not intentional unless someone did an excellent splicing job, the "Another one bites the dust" line quite clearly says "...Decide to smoke marijuana" when played backwards. This is especially clear toward the end of the track when Mercury repeats the line with only the drums playing. [Source: songfacts.com
