Cinnamon-mon-mon-mon!

The crescent artistic symbol is one of the oldest symbols known to humanity. We're talking as early as 2300 BC! It has been displayed on flags (in the US on the South Carolina state flag), in logos (Red Cross & Red Crescent), as a heraldic symbol, and appears in real life in the night sky where the moon is less than half illuminated. Yet, probably the most recognized crescent is that which is used in baking...crescent rolls, croissants and crescent shaped cookies. Get ready to bake, eat & enjoy!
