Did Punxsutawney Phil see his shadow this year? The famous weather-predicting woodchuck came out Tuesday morning at Gobbler's Knob in Punsxutawney, Pennsylvania, and did NOT see his shadow -- which means an EARLY SPRING. READ MORE...
With any predictability comes variances. This is especially true of the weather across our nation. It is interesting to note that Punxsy Phil is not the only predicting woodchuck! Several other groundhogs also failed to see their shadow, forecasting an early spring. On Staten Island, the groundhog known as StatenIsland Chuck also did not see his shadow Tuesday morning, according to NY1.com. General Beauregard Lee, the woodchuck that resides in Georgia, did not see his shadow, CBS 46 reported. But in Dunkirk, New York, Dunkirk Dave did see his shadow, predicting six more weeks of winter, according to WIVB.com.

Spring is definitely coming, just a matter of when! Let's do hope Phil did not lie and the buds & blossoms will appear soon!
