Bill of Rights

The Bill of Rights
 December 15, 1791

What do you consider basic rights all human beings should have? In essence, that is exactly the thoughts of our forefathers 224 years ago. How many times have you read or heard reference to the "Bill of Rights"? How much do you know about these rights? The Bill of Rights plays a central role in American law and government remaining a fundamental symbol of the freedoms and culture of our nation. One of the original fourteen copies of the Bill of Rights is on display at the National Archives in Washington, DC.

Constituting Liberty: From the Declaration to the Bill of Rights

Are you prepared to lose any of the freedoms America has fought so hard to achieve and maintain? You have a voice...let that voice be heard! Be one of the Voices of America that speak loud and clear of the people, for the people, by the people. Go forth today with joy in your heart for all the freedoms America has to offer. Take not for granted that which was won for you through blood and sacrifice. While it may be naturally accepted and expected in today's society, always remember America's freedom was not free...it came at a very high price. Payment is still being made in order to maintain that freedom and all the rights that go along with it. Enemies are among us. Don't wait until the morning comes when you wake up and question "What happened?"
