My America, YOUR America, Our America

Are you an American? What does America mean to you? What is your interpretation of the phrases America the Beautiful, The Land of the Free, The Home of the Brave? These are not words to just be recited on a whim but instead they represent the heart of America.

Why should any American be told when/where they can/cannot fly the American flag? As long as it is flown respectfully, we have that inalienable right!
What makes America the beautiful? America's landscapes are some of the most magnificent in the world. Yet, her beauty goes far beyond any panoramic vision. America's true beauty lies in her strength. There are many factors threatening our nation's security but none as grave as our nation's divisiveness. "United we stand, divided we fall."

What does it mean to live in the land of the free? As a people, we are slaves to no one. Our freedoms far surpass any in the world. We have the right to agree or disagree within a society not without inequality and corruption but still a community laced with generosity and graciousness.

What makes America the home of the brave? America fought for the freedoms enjoyed today and keeps fighting to maintain those freedoms. As with our forefathers, there are those among us willing to go the full mile, the whole nine yards, to the nth degree, even making the ultimate sacrifice for America. These are the bravest of the brave!

As with any other place in the world, there are negatives along with the positives. However, the positive side of America vastly outweighs any negative aspects. . .

Of the People, For the People, By the People

"We Hold These Truths To Be Self-Evident..." The Declaration of Independence, July 4th, 1776
"The Gettysburg Address," Abraham Lincoln, November 19th, 1863
"The Man In The Arena," Teddy Roosevelt, April 23rd, 1910
"I Have A Dream..." Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., August 28th, 1963
"Let's Roll," Todd Beamer, aboard Flight 93, September 11th, 2001

Rediscover what made, and still makes, this nation great! There are many defining moments embedded throughout America's history. Within today's society, thoughts remain unsettled as America strives to uphold the liberty, freedom and the constitution upon which this nation was built. Be one of the Voices of America! Protect the freedoms won through faith, hope and courage amid unfathomable sacrifice!

There should NEVER be a moment's hesitation to. . .
